General Information
The surgery department of the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital is a multispecialty centre that offers surgical patient care along with training and research. The trainings offered in the department are; specialty training for surgery in various subspecialties (in partnership with COSECSA and KUHeS), undergraduate medical training, Bachelors in Surgery, and Orthopedic clinical officer training.
In the surgery department, we are divided into 6 subspecialties, namely;
- General Surgery
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Paediatric Surgery
- Plastics Surgery
- ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat)
- Neurosurgery
